A brilliant start to April, and no fools here as we landed 3 out of 4 bets including a  4/1 beauty on yard debut, and our long term Fred Winter intended winner at Limerick, EPHESUS, landing a right old touch from an advised 11/8 into odds on. We finished the night off with an Even money shot again well-supported in the Bumper, yet the write up in that we rarely get anything from the Mullins yard was vindicated as Dani Danodino bolted up by 7 lengths.

As we head in to the final few days of March, we have managed to navigate a historically tricky month, with a profit of over 25 points. A few more winners instead of the places would have doubled that tally, yet it's all swings and roundabouts.

An exciting ten days ahead with our first TWO YEAR OLD BET OF THE SEASON primed for Doncaster on Saturday, and just like the Irish equivalent, we are expecting to land this with a powerful early sort!

Next week sees the Dubai World Cup finale, and Aintree, and our free public previews are taking shape. We are convinced we have the winner of the Mares' Bumper on the opening day and could well be a maximum bet!

The notebooks are taking shape as well as the Irish Form Guide and horse trackers, and there's no better time to join us than now, where you will benefit from the full compliment of Flat, Jumps and AW racing.

A cracking start to the week, indeed a week which looks unappetising and will require a degree of selectivity and caution.

Monday featured our first notebook horse of the year PRINCE OF DUBAI landing big late money at Wolverhampton (6/4 advised)! That followed advice from Paddy Brennan to back JACK HYDE at Southwell. Proceedings were rounded off with yet more incredible Irish Bumper information; KENISA SPORT 11/1 indeed leaving a dreadful run behind and appreciating the better ground at Down Royal.

That particular source has been on fire all month, providing us with fantastic FIRST TIME OUT WINNERS 8/1 13/2 13/2 5/1 and the first winner of the Turf Season POWER BLUE 5/2!!!

Our first Ante Post bet is online now, 40/1 and "WE HAVE HAD HIM IN OUR BACK POCKETS ALL WINTER". Well that word has been confirmed following a brilliant winter on his back, and we are on AT MAXIMUM STAKES!!!

BIG BET ALERT IN THE DUNDALK AUCTION FRIDAY NIGHT!!

There has been much talk about Cheltenham this year and how they attract bigger crowds. Personally I thought the crowd sizes on Tuesday this year were perfect. The best experience I've had at Cheltenham for a long time. There were little to no queues at bars, bookies and trackside viewing was easily accessible.

Cheltenham Crowds for 2025 vs 2024 below:

    Tuesday 55,498 v 60,181

    Wednesday 41, 949 v 46,771

    Thursday 53,366 v 53,918

    Friday 68, 026 v 69,129

My personal opinion is that the course attendance cap for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday should be 56,000. That number was enjoyable on Tuesday this year and the space was there. Granted the weather was nice and that does play it's part as the space inside at Cheltenham is limited. Friday should be limited to 65,000 (I wouldn't go as I think Friday is a shocking days racing with massive crowds. Similar to the Grand National day.

    As for value:

Cheltenham have lowered the price for tickets this year as below:

    Tues - Thurs

    Club - £83, Tatts - £52, Best Mate - £35

    Friday

    Club - £99, Tatts - £67, Best Mate - £50

Compared to racing in Ireland where Gold Cup day is 30 Euros, we are still massively overpriced but also it is good to see that the Jockey Club are trying to improve.

Personally I do not see the point in offering Club and Tatts. They are virtually the same area these days and no steward actually stops to check your carboard badge. I was club this year and found those bars worse than the Guinness village which is available for Tatts. As is the Centaur which has live entertainment.

Why not offer one Club enclosure with prices at £75 and incorporate that full area for racegoers. It's a much more appealing price to me.

Which ever route the festival choose pricing wise it will still not solve the problem of diluted races with horses avoiding each other. I have spoke at long length about this and how certain races are better at Trials Day. The issue I have is with races that give trainers and owners the opportunity to copout of a clash with the best horses. The Mares vs the Champion Hurdle and the Ryanair vs the Gold Cup are the best examples. Proposal of a three day meeting with better quality racing would certainly help. Although the course team cannot be blamed for horses like Sir Gino and The Jukebox Man getting injured or Constitution Hill falling in a heap. That is just bad luck unfortunately....

Another brilliant first time out Bumper winner in Ireland at 8/1 and bigger was available before the off. The information was spot on given we had been given two debutants from the Joseph O'Brien yard (13/2 and 5/1) yet we were told to go against him Saturday and we indeed had TIM TOE WINNING at Thurles!!

Our other selection landed place money narrowly failing at 8/1 in the Kempton equivalent.

That takes us to 33 POINTS CLEAR PROFIT in MARCH ALONE!

Before we give you our FREE SUNDAY BET, we also have the Aintree Preview coming this week, a 50/1 Guineas Ante Post bet, a BRILLIANT DUBAI WORLD CUP notebook, where we had success at up to 14/1 ON SUPER SATURDAY, plus the 2-YAER-OLD NEWCOMERS NOTEBOOK, the AW 3-YEAR-OLD HANDICAPPERS WITH ZERO FORM, and much much more!!

Runner Jacket LET'S GETAWAY LOVE J: Shane Fenelon T: Peter & Michael Bowen

Probably the best bred in the race and a filly who could have gone anywhere in the coming days, notably a Huntingdon entry indicating she's not short of speed. Yard had a brilliant return this season with their NHF runners (5-25), and she's getting all the sex and weight for age allowances here, not to mention the jockey's 5lb claim, and he's been in the winner's enclosure all week. Could just very well be under the radar this one in a lopsided market. 25/1 PP 22/1 generally 0.5pt EACH WAY

The brilliant run continued on Thursday and another 100% correct day with two Bumper winners both doing the job at the first time of asking. A 7 length hammering of the favourite at our advised 5/2 followed by our second Joseph O'Brien NHF winner of the week at 5/1.

That's SIX on the bounce now and March profits are piling up at 23.50 points from our simple and secure staking plan.

The Festival Previews page is building with Cheltenham insights and pointers, as well as our PRIVATE Notebooks featuring some 3-year-olds with NO FORM WHATSOEVER!

A good start to the day with a 3/1 winner at Newcastle.

Roaring Ralph ran on for 3rd place later on and gave us some small profit each way.

Bellagio Man in the same race was slowly out the stalls and had no chance from early on.

Full results page updated, look out for the "today's bets" tab tomorrow with our daily selections.
